Clinical Drug Trials at MidAmerica Neuroscience Institute
Posted on Thu, Jan 06, 2011 @ 10:39 AM
Clinical drug trials are one component of the comprehensive approach we take in treating neurological conditions. Within our Four Centers of Excellence: Multiple Sclerosis, Memory Loss, Headache or Sleep Disorders, MidAmerica Neuroscience Institute is involved in 25 to 30 different clinical drug trials each year with about 6-12 actively enrolling at any one time.
We are very selective in choosing which trials to participate in but look for opportunities for our patients to have access to good therapies, currently not available through conventional sources, which have proven both safe and beneficial in earlier stage testing.
If you would like to learn what studies are currently enrolling, or would like to be put into our database to be notified about future studies in the areas of Multiple Sclerosis, Memory Loss, Headache or Sleep Disorders please call to speak with any one of our clinical research coordinators pictured below. Call 913-894-1500 and ask for the Research Study Department.
